You tried using the full site.
In chrome you click the 3 dots top left, then scroll down and check the box marked desktop site.

Of you have and Amazon fire tab it won't let you use Chrome on here

we can't attach pics or content in DMs either, it only allows us to attach in public forums and our DMs only provide the option to attach "media" that is already something we posted in forums. Here is a screenshot showing the issue:

I’m having same issue. It all started for me when the site changed layout

That's a it random, you on the mobile site or full site?

Sometimes my iPhone doesn't register a click on the button. I will back out and do a phone restart and then it works.
