As a professor who teaches classes in human sexuality, I am acutely aware of the tension between women's roles in the public view (such as wife, mother, participant in civic mattes, and of course one's profession) and our innate need for sexual use and submission.
Women whose sexual desires and/or activities become widely known are usually dismissed as "sluts" or "trashy". Yet those needs are very real in each of us. We walk a fine line as we attempt to balance what society expects of us with what our bodies and our minds desire. That is the tension of being a woman.
