    I think the key is that you and your wife discussed it openly. My first wife and several GFs later probably would have gotten into such a lifestyle with me had we openly discussed the matter. Way back when I was young, we never thought about discussing these things. Couples today are much more aware of the possibilities and talk about their desires more freely. The internet certainly makes a difference.
