I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself. I’ve been interested for a long time in the psychology and science behind relationships and sexuality.
Recently I finished writing my first book exploring the evolutionary science behind cuckolding and hotwifing. It was just published on Amazon Kindle today, which is both exciting and a little nerve-wracking.
One of the main reasons I decided to write about this topic is that, despite how often it’s discussed online, there’s surprisingly little credible material that approaches it from a scientific perspective. A lot of what’s out there tends to fall into either erotic fiction or simple “how-to” style guides that promise easy answers, but rarely go much deeper into why these desires might exist in the first place.
I became curious about what actual research might say about the subject, so I ended up diving into work from evolutionary biology, psychology, sociology, and cultural history. It turned into quite a learning experience for me, and I tried to build something that focuses more on understanding the phenomenon rather than offering quick formulas or sensational explanations.
I’ve asked the forum admin whether it would be okay to share a link to the book here, so I’ll wait for his response before posting anything about it.
