I know this probably isn’t the right place for this, but I have no idea where else to post.
Whenever I try to send a DM, whether it’s new or a reply, whether it’s a long message or literally just the word “test”, I get the attached error. When I go to use the “contact us” form at the bottom, it’s just a DM, so I get the exact same error and am unable to send the message.
Genuinely, this is one of the most frustrating parts of this website. This seems to happen at random and when it does, it lasts forever. I’ve been trying to send DMs and getting this message for 10+hours and can’t let staff know because the Contact Us is also a DM.
This happens whether I log in through my phone or through my laptop.
Any ideas on wtf I’m supposed to do to get this fixed?
Edit: Amazing. I went to post this and got the second attachment. This had stopped happening for a few weeks and now it’s back, I guess. I posted in the support forum that seems dead and then can’t post anything else in the forum for 45 minutes?!? That cannot possibly be normal.
This website is a lesson in frustration. I hate to sound like an old perv screaming at clouds, but I’ve never, ever been on a forum, not since the literal 90’s, that was so dead set against community engagement. This website makes it impossible to interact with people.
