You made this post about a year ago. I’m curious, do you already have another ......? If so, I hope the father is the one you wanted it to be.

Reading through the comments in this thread, I honestly had to shake my head a bit. Just my humble opinion: fantasies are one thing, but pregnancy is a serious topic. So I completely understand your concerns.

For us, family planning is done. I had several conversations with my husband about this. Due to health issues, I had to stop taking the pill. Since neither of us wants to take unnecessary risks, we decided together that he would get a vasectomy. He had the procedure last month, and once he gets the final confirmation from the doctor, we’ll be able to fully enjoy sex again without worry.

By the way, there are a few other men in our circle of friends who also chose to get snipped. For my husband, it turned out to be an easy decision – a mix of reasons led to it, and afterwards he even said it wasn’t a big deal at all.

I'm not trying to convince anyone or say it’s the right choice for you. Just a general recommendation: if you want to "play," it might be a good idea to choose someone who’s already had a vasectomy.
