We fully understand you. Sometimes it is quite frustrating dealing with other couples but in our case certainly with single guys.
We love to play from time to time with an extra single man but getting one over has proven quite difficult. Even if you have a solid date planned, we have a success rate of less than 20% that they show up. The more decent ones cancel well in advance, some the day of the date and then there are the ones that just don't show up.
By the way ; we had no idea that there were so many grandparents dying in the week leading up to a date. We must be cursed !
We even said to one guy to NOT date us because there was a 80% risk of one of his grandparents to die. Naturally he said he was different. Turned out he wasn't, he was worse and just didn't showed up without any notice.
The only ones that were more reliable were the BBC's we invited !
