My wife does it but mostly for fun and the attention from men. She has a free subscription (you can charge just to have followers subscribe to you on OF) but she does charge a "tip" for some of what she posts. Things likes sex videos and themed picture collections. She doesn't make a whole lot of money, but does make some. She really does not put much effort into it and doesn't try all that hard to promote it. Like I said she mostly does it for fun and attention from men. People can leave comments on your posts or they can direct message you so she gets a steady supply of men (and some women LOL) chatting with her.
If you're thinking about doing it to make some real money, you really have to get out there and promote it through every social media platform possible. Those women who do make good money basically do it for their career!
