I think it all depends on which chat app or platform you share the info.

Like if it's something fairly anonymous like WhatsApp or Telegram, etc. maybe it's ok. But if you give out your wife's phone # for texting, that's just stupid.

I've messaged with married women, sure. But I'm not a BBC and I haven't tried pretending to accidentally message a wife with the intention of then seducing her.

Even telegram and WhatsApp can be risky if the person is tech savvy enough. It's a dumb idea all the way around.
