Not been recognised personally, but I used to be on one of the big hook-up sites many moons ago. A couple from the city I was living in at the time posted a hot vid of him banging her from behind then turning her around to receive a pretty messy facial, in the days before smartphones and free video editing software to protect one's modesty. I can only assume they did it for the thrill of posting, thinking that their everyday lives would go on as normal. But I recognised them from my local gym and spotted them there a couple of days later. I didn't say anything but they were getting a lot of unwanted attention otherwise from guys who had clearly seen them too. It was only a couple more days before the vid vanished from the site, their profile was hidden and I never saw them at the gym again. I guess they underestimated how many people were online looking for sex...
My wife was recognised a good few years ago from posting on Flickr by a guy local to us. He was cool and discrete about it. Used to see him about town often, was a thrill. Also recognised her brothers ex girlfriend on a swingers site once with her new guy.
Oh the good old flickr! Once Yahoo sold it it went to hell.
Had hundreds of wife's face pics on there. Never lucky to have her recognized
