In Arizona and having trouble viewing site? Is anyone else getting an age/check pop up when they try to log in?

Visiting Arizona and have found when I try to log in I keep getting blocked by age/check? I've sent a not to the admins but am curious if its something others are dealing with and what they use for a work around. I'm never going to give the info they are requesting and with some difficulty I have the ability to log in from another state but its a pin in the neck.

We are in Az and have not had any issues

Not sure why its only happening with this site. I have a work around (obviously) but its a pain in the neck, Hoping someone else has dealt with this and has suggestions on how to clear my computer,

I’ve had that happen in quite a few states that I’ve worked in… but I haven’t worked in Arizona in a long time. Most recently it was Washington DC and Illinois where I had an issue.

NC is the same way. some states require you to be 18. that why that page appears.

get a Proton VPN & you won't have a problem no matter where you go. this site is one of the more sensitive ones i visit.

Do you know if its because the site administrators have registered the site somehow while other website have not? I had the feeling I was able to log in (without my workaround) when I first got her and now its like my computer has a virus in that if I try to look at this site the Ag/check thing pops up. Just trying to understand how it works. Does the site recognize my IP address as coming from Phoenix and block it or is this website on some sort of adult content list? I do believe a VPN is in my future. I get trying to keep kids from adult content but I don't think for a second that a tech savvy teenager will be slowed down much.

yes. the IP shows you a from AZ. the VPN masks your location. there are 18 states that have begun age verification, per the Gov't mandate.

my guess some sites might be just ignoring it, or might be based in a foreign country.

although i have a VPN, this site is one of the more sensitive to navigate. some days it doesn't recognize the VPN. but, that might be an issue with my laptop.

one more point. i have tried 3 VPNs & proton works the best. it is free on my laptop. when i try to add to my Android phone they try to charge me. i have a feeling Google has something to do with that.
