Does anyone have pics of my wife saved? Had a computer crash and lost them all. Message me if you have her please!

Edit: I was able to find a few so let me know if you want to talk about her!

If it's an operating system failure, you can probably recover the files really easily, by booting off a different drive/ machine and accessing the files as just another directory on a storage device. External cradles for dropping a hard drive from a laptop/pc in as storage for another machine are pretty cheap - £30 or less over here in the UK (RIP Maplins... *sigh*) or you can boot off a USB device so you don't have strip the machine to pieces to get a new drive in there.
If it's a drive failure you still might be able recover files with a decent recovery app, though for that you probably will need to get it out of the original machine and into a cradle, or pop both machines open and connect with an SATA cable (kind of like jump starting a car with cables between the batteries really)
I've had both scenarios in filming & photography work, and almost lost important client files and footage, but managed to recover them with the above approaches before we hit deadlines or had to schedule reshoots.
The good (mostly) thing is that data is rarely lost until the sectors on the drive are overwritten, so when an operating system fails, and a computer "crashes", or a drive index corrupts and it shows as "unreadable" most of the 1s and 0s are still there to be put back together 🙂
(Mandatory "if you use a computer/phone for storing banking/financial details... get a proper data shredding app before you bin, recycle, or give it to anyone else" warning... "delete & empty recycle bin" or "factory reset" are not reliable methods of protecting important financial data)
