Oh my military wives are such lovely women and we have a whole different attitude about sex. In my days as a Navy wife I had many close calls, luckily it all worked out for the best.
I’m sure you know it happens more than most people know or understand.
It may seem crazy to the rest of the world but it is really an unwritten rule, when deployed a hall pass is granted automatically. Especially if you live on post. When I was in, we had one sat phone for the entire FOB and we had limited access to the internet through the MWR so letters had to suffice. My wife and I were both in the army when we met, we got married 6 months later but agreed on an open marriage because we knew we would deployed and away from each other, we were always upfront with each other and we're still married today.

We laugh about it today, when he came home he asked me so who took the photos of you, so I told him about this guy I was seeing more than just a one night fun and we all become good friends, but it was both shocking to him and funny after, like wow nice photo then who is taking them, as I was from dressed to totally naked and spread wide open for him. Yes thank goodness before the internet and smart phones. I could of really gotten into some trouble perhaps.

Early in my career, my first operational assignment was at an AF base in the Far East. Initially when I got there I was single and on an 18 month tour. Mid tour, I came home and married my long distance sweetheart, brought her with me to the far Pacific, and extended to make the tour 3 years.
