In my case I think that it is true, many older women want to be with men who are a few years younger than they are.
they know that most younger men, 30-40s, will not be interested in them but they have a shot with the 50+ set of men.

part of the reason that the older women don't want older men is because of, like their husbands, they have performance issues.

when older women go with men other than their husbands it isn't for emotional connections it is about sex.
