OraQuick HIV test kit

My wife is very close to dating someone for the first time in our marriage.

Is it common practice for your wife to bring along an OraQuick HIV test kit to the her first encounter with another man.

I'm pretty sure the person taking the test can't have had anything to drink or eat for a while beforehand (30 minutes ) or it will give a false negative result. So to be absolutely sure she would have to be with him for 30 minutes before taking the test to know he hasn't had anything to drink or eat. Then give the test. Then the test results take 20 minutes I think.
