In an effort to better understand ourselves as individuals and as a couple, my wife and I took this quick online assessment: The Sexual Desire Inventory (SDI-2). It gives your results in the form of a number total out of 100. And while it isn’t anything to make life changing decisions on, it’s still a very interesting insight on where you and your partner stand. ChatGPT is good for interpreting the results both as an individual score and the difference in scores between you and your partner. And above all it does a great job of validating where you are. My wife and I had one of the most meaningful and healthiest sexual discussions after taking it and going over chatGPT’s interpretation. I’d be very interested in other people’s experience with it, and at the very least it would be fascinating to see how the men’s scores compare to the women’s.

I don’t feel sexual desire for anyone other than my wife, no matter how attractive they are. My desire is only for her.

Is that normal? I’ve never felt this way before. Even when I had a strong connection with one person, I could still feel desire for others too. But now, not at all.
