Back when I was married to wife number one but she'd always go into Nordstrom's to look at shoes. Back then, and I don't think it's this way anymore, The shoe department was pretty busy, a lot of guys working there, they would go and back grab the shoes and actually put them on the woman's feet.

They had a little low stool. They'd sit on that look like this.
