What do you do while waiting (daytime not at home)?

So my wife had her first solo experience with a vanilla guy (not great) 4 weeks ago while i was at home, kids, work, etc.. kept me occupied.

Now she is going on her first "first meet' with an experienced lifestyler (big, fit, 15 years younger,....), at first sight the whole package. They had a video call yesterday and it went really well, so they are meeting today at 3pm in another city (1.5hrs away for both). I will not be meeting him this time but I will be somewhere nearby. We are putting no time limit on it. She would love to get at least to kissing, heavy petting etc... and is open to them going to a hotel alone for several hours.

So i find it a bit funny. What the hell do i do with myself in this other city, for anywhere between 1 and 6 hours, but still be quickly available for her? Some possibilities are, gym, cinema, reading a book, cycling around, lunch, art gallery...... It's a bit weird. Kind of being a tourist but having to stay nearby, plus having no clue for how long. Also knowing no matter what i will do i will be distracted like hell 🤣.

It's very different i think if its the evening. Then i would go out for a drink and watch tv in the hotel.

So, am I reading correctly? You went with her to this other city? Different vehicles?

If so, I think that was a good idea. I never traveled to another city to be near my wife while she was meeting a new guy. But, I did it many times locally. She and I would jokingly call it "stalker date," lol. Reason being, she had a first date once and it didn't go well. The guy scared her.

After that, we started doing stalker dates if she was on a first date. They would usually meet at a bar or restaurant. I would walk in about 15 minutes later and just sit at the bar. I would try to sit at the bar where I could see her and her date, but remain inconspicuous.

It was actually fun, to watch from a distance and see the guy that had the potential to fuck my wife, lol.
