Why do people post media that is not them?

I notice in the media section a lot of people post random media, not of themselves. I guess I though the purpose was to post media of yourself and your activity? To be clear, I am not saying all media but a vast majority is just website uploaded.

Awesome, I am not accusing, I just thought that the section was for personal media posts. I am the same, I only post things that are directly me or me in my activities.

First of all I fully agree with the thread author. Far to many are using photoshop crap and passing it of as their own. We all know the full reasons behind why (wishful fantasies). Secondly I would just like to say this is a photo of a fantastic lady

I posted all I have, hundreds, in my own media section and all but maybe 20 were deleted and mine are all real...
