My wife had a very high sex drive and we played a lot, around mid 40’s she just went cold on sex and it got less and less often. Now at 56 it’s been 6 months since we last had sex and probably 2 times this year so far. Sex when we do have it is just one way and I do all the work.
Near 50s here. Wife is going through menopause.
We have times when we don't do anything for a couple of months. And other times we might play a few times a week, so it's very varied.
Alot comes down to how often I want it too. If I ask more then I tend to get more etc.
I will say that sex has generally improved over the years. I'm lot more open with her than I used to be. I'm finally getting slightly better at communicating and knowing the right times to talk about things.

my wife's libido went off the charts in her 50s. she was active until she passed, in her 70s.
No there's the silent majority..... we need to improve information resources on hormone replacement therapy HRT for our aging population.. Sex does not just drop off and go A'away ... Stay informed, it's normal to have sex until you're gone👍👍
