Communication is obviously key. Start with some fun and focused games between yourselves. Use that opportunity to open up discussions

Talk to him about his wants , fantasies etc. Tell him some of yours. Don't jump into your wildest ones, go slow , let him see how much fun it is to explore with you.

Well if you can't communicate with your partner the relationship might have more problems other than sex. Or he might have some deep sexual trauma. Either way that sucks
