Alas, lack of interest could be down to the fact that we men are such visual beasts and need that stimulus to turn us on, porn being a case in point. It's got to an extent that a sizeable chunk of members here treat it as such, are only it in for the pics and vids, along with that thrill that they're from real people when they're not ripped off from an amateur porn site or been through the AI mill.
Generally, women read much more than men do, so that may also account for the lack of interest in your stories. I have searched the threads looking for an erotica/stories section and it's pretty threadbare, even when members say they like to spin a good sexy yarn. They post once or twice, then that's it. It is pretty disappointing because I love to read and write too (can you tell?) but, like you, I'm reticent to post because it is a complete waste of time if there's no audience.
I like to interact, read people's tales, the adventure, the desire, what works, what doesn't. In a nutshell, exploring sexuality. Yet, like you (again), I get the physical side offsite because there's almost no follow through on promises here.
