We think if there wasn't love prior the idea or desire to play around with other people, then, it will be very difficult for the relationship to sustain itself.

Because playing the Hotwife lifestyle is challenging many times. Things (particularly in the beginning) aren't that smooth in every case or with every people the couple meet, and expectations could not be reached. We knew some couples who split or divorced because they tried the lifestyle thinking it was a solution for their problems...and that's just wrong. If the couple has problems or bad understanding, better not to try it so suddenly.

I would say lust. It's just a way to indulge in sexual activities that make you feel good without the regret or awkwardness. I understand some people might use it to strengthen their relationships but we think of it more as a hedonistic activity where we do what feels good and not have any regret about it.
