These are some of the rules we have agreed on:
1. She can't see her lovers without me knowing about it ahead of time.
2. No dating and no outside relationships, this is about sex only.
3. I have to meet each new guy before she has sex with them for the first time.
4. I can make suggestions on men for her, but she gets the final say and she gets to pick them. I have no veto ability.
5. I can't dictate the number of times per day/week that she gets to have sex.
6. She gets to do whatever she wants sexually with her lovers.
7. She can spend the entire night with her lovers only in our home.
8. I can never join in, but I can have sloppy seconds whenever I want.
They say rules are made to be broken. If one of us wants to deviate from our rules, we talk about it and come to a mutually acceptable compromise. We always work to respect the other person's viewpoint. For example, she was out of town at a conference and she met a guy she was really attracted to. She called me and told me about him and asked if it was ok for them to fuck and for her to spend all night with him. We talked about it. I wanted to be sure she was going to be safe. After discussing it, and after her providing some details on where they would be, etc., I agreed. With his permission she set up a FaceTime session and I was able to watch them off and on most of the night. Turns out the guy was a stud and he left her extremely satisfied. I felt that it was a special encounter. I think I was doubly turned on by it because it was against the rules.

As someone experiencing a similar situation but a year and a half into it I can tell you rules are good but you will adjust them over time. We started slow with her having a regular boyfriend and we were getting together with him for 3somes and she was seeing him solo. Eventually it tan it’s course and we started exploring hotwife options via a friend f hers ho is a longtime hotwife. Again, things developed over time but having a friend in the lifestyle helped. There were areas we were not initially interested in but curiosity has drawn us in some directions. I was always looking to be involved and remain her primary lover.
