Oh man, for most of us, (my opinion based on our experiences) moving him in may be a step too far. You really have to know the guy! Exactly. The best you can do is invite a "special friend" to spend a few days in your extra bedroom, or your wife may decide to travel with him, meet him somewhere for a "vacation." And of course, hotels are your friend if you still have kids at home. Introduce her lover to your kids when they are little so that they are used to him being in your home.
