I must have listened to some of their live concerts hundreds of times. My favourite period was early 70's when Pigpen was still around.

My first show was in October 1972 in Springfield, MA. Was listening to a ‘69 show in my car earlier this evening.

Cool, unbelievable! I'm in my 40's and weren't even aware of them until late 90's (after Jerry died). Now I only listen to 60's/70's music, and the Dead are at the top of the tree!
