This is a great question. When I was a Bull in my 30's and 40's I always paid for dinner, the hotel room or whatever. I felt like Bull's who didn't are doing something wrong.
For some reason in my 40's this has changed. The couples seem to now want to pay big we get a room, they arrange, they pay for it.
I think this is what's happened. Cuckolding has become more acceptable and as such some the normative rules of dating are taking over.
