The way I'd look at it is, if her choice was strictly just a fuck buddy from the past that she wasn't emotionally attached to, it would probably be ok. If it was an ex-boyfriend or ex-husband, it would be a hard NO. It's not worth the risk getting involved with an ex.
You will probably experience your fantasy, as your wife has internalized what you've shared with her, and has a guy in mind. Take your time and don't push her, let her be the one to suggest moving forward. If you bring it up at every opportunity, she'll resent it. Most wives wouldn't initially admit to having a guy in mind, but if it's someone she already knows it's easier for her to be comfortable with reaching out for him. You didn't say if he's married - a married BF may take longer for your wife to bed simply due to scheduling challenges.
Idk if she has a certain guy or is just stating one she has only done hook ups with. She seemed little overwhelm in thought so i told her im going to lay of the topic and when shes ready to continue talks or proceed more or any certain things on topic she can bring it up.
