So i just wanted to post our progression over the last two years because i think we're finally making a lot of headway, first of all i should probably note that this is totally my fantasy and it very much wasn't for her, a year ago when i opened up to her that this is something i found sexy, she was completely against the idea, I never pushed her and we've had a few back and forth dialogues since then about involving other people.. at one point i thought nothing would ever happen, i tested the water with the whole "I know you really don't like the idea" etc.. and she never returned the ball, so i assumed the idea was dead in the water... until...
around a month ago we began discussing our sex life again, we're in a long term relationship and through discussion she'd mentioned things like "some people decide to have open relationships, or a don't ask don't tell policy etc" .it raised my eyebrow a little, but i never pushed, i stayed on side and approached it all from the direction of what would work for us both. She was saying "I'm not saying we should have an open relationship, but I can see why that works for some people"
So she recently told me she was going on a night out with one of her friends who is known for being a bit on the wild side, and the other day she said that her husband will casually ask "did you pull last night?" (that's English speak for "did guys hit on you?") and she's totally comfortable with telling him yes or no... and i was like "yeah exactly, you should be free to go out and have some fun without worrying about how that affects our relationship", she seemed happy with that, and i even went as far as suggesting "i don't mind if you dance with some guy and he gets a bit handsy" .. again she just smiled and laughed it off, she didn't shut down the idea or anything, I f anything she seemed more relieved that she had permission.
This feels like massive progress to me, the idea that she's out talking and flirting with other guys is a massive turn on for me, even if nothing comes of it.. we've gone from "absolutely no chance" to some guy she's never met potentially having his hands all over her..
